  • That sounds like what @Alan's been looking for.

BTW, that document doesn't seem to exist :-(
  • Any part exchange/trade in deals for previous early adopters, Keith? :)
  • Link wont work Keith

    Thanks
  • Sorry about the link!
Basically it is a new Young, it won't need drivers, it has variable analogue output so you can use it as a stand lone dac or as a preamp straight into your power amps.
It has a remote which will play, pause ,stop select tracks on your computer as well as control volume from its inbuilt properly dithered digital attenuator ,it plays every sample rate of PCM and it DSD capable price should be around the same as the old Young.
It looks a little different too LCD and not front mesh!

  • I don't think it's quite as interesting a front panel as the old Young, but I'd be tempted just to ditch the driver.
  • Thanks Keith, how does it sound compared to the old DAC? Is it much the same?
  • Soverign Hi, I really couldnt say it won't be released for another month or so, it won't be NOS or have a valve
    output though.
    KR Keith.
