JPLAY - anyone played with it ?

edited March 2012 in Digital

Got the tip off for this from Jason at Scalford   http://jplay.eu/

It apparently works inside the shell of JRiver and Foobar but seems to be only Windows based ( and not cheap at 99 euros !!). Getting hot reviews which of course could be a bum steer as we all know from experience.

  • I do wish you'd stop posting here Mervyn...
    ;)
Not satisfied with "rubbishing" my cart' [-X, you now plant seeds of discontent in my mind about the perfectness of JRiver...
    :-S

    %-( :D
  • I blame Figlet myself. Just another of his devious ways of flogging the next generation TFS to innocent honest punters like us (ahem !).

  • Yeah. He did the same to me, but I'm immune, as a Mac user :-)
  • JPlay?

    I don't like boy bands...
  • Nah. Not a boy band. That celeb that the tabloids went mad about the bum of, I think.  :D

Little Miss Bootalicious isn't adverse to a bit of hifi...
Not a fan of her music, but she brightens up a mediocre 5.1 system.
Now, if Jason could recruit her away from HK for some TFS marketing at shows... [-O<

  • Where do I sign? :-c
  • FWIW I tried JPlay and didn't think it sounded any different to Audirvana+. Maybe I've got cloth ears though.
  • Where do I sign? :-c
    Join the queue. =;
The post of TFS shill is already taken...
    B-)
  • I 'think' I might prefer JPlay 'hibernation ' mode to JRiver, but if there is a differecce it is subtle,
