    No absolutely right. 'Too late to stop now' was recorded in 1973 in LA I think. But still sodding good !!!

    Sorry, not trying to be picky, Mervyn.

    It's a long time since I've heard Too Late To Stop Now, but I was thinking yesterday that these performances were possibly even better than the album. When you said they were the same, I thought my memory was playing tricks!

    I can feel a trip over to Spotti coming on :-)

    Not being picky at all Dave. It is such a timeless track that ebbs and flows something very performers can
    achieve. Also illustrates for me how good Van was in the 70's and how his more recent recordings just do not come near that sort of performance.

    There was something really transcendent about Van in the 70s. When he did go all spiritual in the 80s, he lost something, IMO.
