  • Build an amp? That could be fun...

Dave, when I saw thois thread title my heart was in my mouth!
  • Behave, Mr B. I feel my reputation is undeserved!
  • Yeah, sorry....you did cut both wires, each side, right? [..]
  • I haven't yet done the deed.

I've been giving the electronics a grand caning(tm) in my office for the past few days to get them up and running.

I'll be doing the snip this evening (ouch!).
  • I might suggest a few piccies...

Also, only connect one amp at a time, so if you missed something you wont cook yer amps! I bi-amped mine with NVA A70 / A40. I there might ben something on RoydAudio you can link to, but memory is a little hazy. I think I wrote something for it.

A 'How I fried some amps' thread?
    :-\"
  • Ahem...no, that's a silly idea! ;)
  • Relevant bit of literature from J Ackroyd on Bi-Amping Revelation speakers:

Set up guide for Revelation speakers:

    Bi-Amping Royds:

The top two were scans of the literature that came with my speakers - I knew all this talk of Bi-Amping was ringing bells for a reason!
  • Thanks for all that Alan. Surgery completed successfully.
