Been watching some old Astaire routines on YouTube today. I've been surprised how much I'm enjoying watching his moves. Sometimes sublime, sometimes humorous, he always makes whoever he's dancing with look less graceful.
Obviously there's some connection between music and dance, anyone else enjoy watching some twinkling feet?

    But his placement of every toe, finger, elbow, knee, hip are all perfect. His timing is perfect.
    Also, I understand that he was a fairly handy percussionist, so that explains his exquisite shaping of events...

    A lot of the great drummers of yesteryear could tap dance. Definitely linked with rhythm and 'feel'.
