I'm sad to report the passing of Doug Sax, one of the finest mastering engineers of all. You will have at least some of his work in your collection.

He is also to be found giving freely of his experience on YouTube as a fierce opponent of the so called loudness wars.

I'm genuinely saddened by his loss, he imported something special to so much music.
