Old stuff: Inca Tech

edited February 2020 in Systems

Bottom left: Magnum pre-amp, upgraded.
Top left: Claymore issue 6
Right: 2 x Claymore FMT tuners

The Claymore and the bottom tuner came as a pair, although the amp needs a little attention. They were caked in filth though, and took a dammed good clean... Have come up lovely though! Like new,  preserved under a protective layer of grime. With a bit of Colin's magic they should absolutely sing. The only imperfection not age related is some slight damage to the LCD, which has bled a little from the top.

The older tuner (top) was practically NOS, it just lacked original packaging.

I don't know why I keep picking this stuff up, I just like the history I suppose! The new stuff Colin has designed is amazing, but it's good to know where it came from.

I wonder if I will end up with TOCA 50W monos one day? That'll be a hard sell to my long suffering wife!!

  • Good bless them.
    Every one.
  • Ooooooo, look at those!
Two FMTs, total extravagance, you really need to sell one off :D
  • TOCA monos! That'd be a thing :-)

    Make an offer!

Assuming the imperfect one works ok when Colin checks then out, either would be potentially available. I know the perfect one works and sounds beautiful.

We need to finance more EWA cable...
  • I'd love more old Inca tech to. I'd love some power amplifiers.
  • Hmmmmmm, interesting, let me know how the surgery goes...
  • Here is an internal shot of the Claymore integrated (Issue 6 board):

And here are several of the FMT, not too many of these around:

I've been told the Claymore is an issue 3, a slightly earlier amp. What say you, Colin?

Anyone else think Colin got his design inspiration from the Bandit?

    Black and gold...

It is a iss3  No MC but I do have a couple of MC PCB for this model. Lost in a box somewhere OK bloodhound time.

Do not buy a Inca Tech Prelude power amp, they were all prototypes and stolen, or a MSB also stolen, try a Dirk or IT50 ,IT100 IT200 or even a Inca Design ID25 or ID50 or ID75 the ID series are A Class.

    IT200 below.

Try and get one of these only 6 in the world.

    These are good but rare

    Very very rare

  • confused ?
