Hempsted Music Club

Had a really enjoyable Thursday last week hosting my local music club.
It's a monthly event to which members bring a selection of their favourite music and we all have a listen over drinks and nibbles.
It's very educational for me as all the other members are first and foremost 'classical' music fans, so I get to listen to things that I have never heard of before, let alone listened to.
Also, hardly anyone there has any interest in hifi at all (though they do notice that my system sounds 'a bit better' than the 1987 AIWA system last month), so it doen't get too anal. :-w
All very civilised. Very pleasant...!
