With quite a staggering version of Naima.

Dancing with kids and animals is great fun :)

They have a great attitude, but the album is best summed up by the opening three tracks.

Their version of 'war' is stunning, and quite unique; it started as a mistake by one of their number, which was built on and the whole thing evolved. Check it out on spotify - turn it up though! Really high...

I've got this on CD but
keep forgetting to find it when I'm away from the computer. Spotify has
it, and it's a single track almost an hour long so I don't get any
annoying adverts for a while. They do seem to queue up a few adverts for
people listening to very long tracks though, not something I'd noticed
before.

I bought a JJ Cale compilation for SWMBO, because she likes Clapton (why?) and found I like it as much as she does.

Strange, because I'm not much into Country or the Blues. There's just something very special about him.

I was on Kula Shaker - K, second time through as I didn't notice it looping. Now on to Charles Mingus - Pithecanthropus Erectus thanks to Jim's mention of it.

(Also swapped to Chrome as this was playing up in Firefox, this time not keeping me logged in. I have a feeling my problems are with FF rather than the site.)

I'm back on FF 3.6.whatever-the-latest-is as FF4 crashed so hard yesterday due to Flash (I think) I had to pull the plug to reboot the machine. FF4 is nice and quick but I can't lose that much time to a browser playing up at the moment!

The 60s UK is not my favourite. I prefer the Delta Blues. Lots of folk I know says he bores them, just shows how different we all are. I love his dexterity and fluidity.
