early 80 s on hifi answers cheap ideas to try and improve audio sound
colour the edge of a cd green to enhance sound or place a cd in the freezer and hear the diff
colour end caps of fuses in plugs
was ok as long as you did not get taken in by the coloured foil

The foil was what I was thinking of.

  • the famous rainbow coloured foil place bits under audio in corner of room and curtains and chane the way you hear sound
yeah right never fell for that one
did change feet from four to three on all equipment
but never foil or run around sticking bits of paper in every corner and under feet of units
  • Dave very interesting and different view points, I just thought he was mad, but now I am completely sure he and his wife were mad.
  • There are a lot more viewpoints if you Google him.

There are:  He was not just as mad as a boxful of drunk frogs, he was adept at marketing too.  How anyone ever fell for the complete nonsense like buying coloured pieces of card to place under kit or special paper clips is beyond me but each to their own  ;)
  • going to modify my teac t1 transport will post pic as I go
