Cases?

I've googled hifi cases, boxes and enclosures and nothing.

I am wanting to upgrade my xovers and mount them externally and encase my balanced power supply but where the heck would one go for one to purchase cases for ones hifi......one  one, what what.

I've been all through those modushop & SiliconRay e-stores, they look great - but expensive.

I think I may just be a cheapskate & use a pair of mini ITX cases, with big old heatsinks bolted on the back.

I don't know if this is of any interest to those looking for cases, but I have a bunch of acrylic cases left over from when I was doing time with he-who-must-not-be-named:

The cases are 345mm x 273mm x 80mm and are made from either 8mm or 10mm thick acrylic, so quite solid and chunky. They cost £50 from the case maker so happy to let them go for the same including delivery (not looking to make a profit, just happy to find them a good home). They still have the protective plastic film.

I think I have about 7 or 8 of them...

Alan, yes I thought that might be the case for your case requirements. In which case I guess you'll have to get on the case and find a bigger case. Worst case you could encase your bits in a homemade wooden case?
