MacBook Pro can't see DDDAC

    I'm totally baffled, sat down to listen to my hifi and my MacBook Pro decides it can't see my DDDAC.
    I have tried all the usual re boot advice etc but it's a no go. Any Ideas?

    Does the DDDAC have its own driver?

    If it does, then try reinstalling it.

    Have you recently updated the os? I work on maverick and I realise that there was an update mid last week, it's always good to rule these options out first. Has your dac always been plug n play?

    Thanks for starting a new thread,
    I've trawled the WWW and I think I need to re load 'firmware' that sounds like a homosexual clothing line to me, but I'll see if I can re load it and report back.

    Ouch! I hope you don't have to fiddle about with firmware too often.
