World champs: Facial attractiveness

I ponder this with regard to both genders, and with regard to all races.
I'm wondering if the genes that give humans the potential to be physically capable of competing in a world athletics championships also impact / are expressed on the faces of those athletes.
Hard to control for age, healthiness, physical fitness, etc.,... but I'm thinking that the average facial attractiveness of athletes in the world champs is above average for their age range.
