Inca Tech Design Change info.

Claymore, Claymore S, Claymore 2, IT amps, ID amps, Dirks, and Sabre 1 and 2 owners.


PCB converter I did for the new FET's works wonderfully, so now older Claymores, Claymore S, and Claymore 2's along with Dirks and the IT range of power amps and even the old ID A Class amps can have better FET's fitted. 

You will only have to change on the main PCB a gate drive resistor to 270R one each on every FET a simple job if done with care and patients.





If anybody fancy fixing their own Inca Tech with these PCB's a set of 4 is £15.00 + p&p.

The circuits are the same for both channels but the component are prefixed Rx`a` or Rx`b` i.e. R10a or R10b or C etc

Col when you bring my the claymore il give you the claymore 2 I'm using to do is that OK. And pay you upfront if it helps.

There is two type one at 8 Amps and the other at 16 Amps, match pairs of complementary FET's.

Yes one is a P junction like the old Green FET and the other is a N Junction like the old Black FET.

Oh col thats not good I like the claymore 2 to be done at 16 but what difference will there be I don't mind paying you but need 25 other people to want them to.

So we basically whip out the the 220R (iis 6) gate resistors, replace them with 270R and then with the new Ts we either use the dinky adaptors or just cross wire  to make the 1G/2S/3D into 1G/2D/3S and we're done?

I think I have bought the claymore shown near the top of this thread (Colin's bit) . My concern is that it looks like only one chanel has had the FETs upgraded, surely both channels should have been done. Am I missing something?
