A very nice amp. Nelson did a good job but it is not a SECA design.

I must admit, I don't think I've ever heard a Pass amp.
Why would you design a push-pull Class A?

Much more efficient thus cooler and it will double power into 4 ohms, But for me the the distortion crossover type is lower but I can hear it.
A SECA design is a much nicer sound and Nelson did a design in the 1990,s but it was very low power,

Thanks Paul. I remember reading some of this stuff ages ago - must have been before that site, looking at the date, when I wanted to have horns, but didn't want a valve amp.
I'll give it another read.
