JRiver Media Center 21
First "new build" of this I've downloaded in a while.
I did so simply to utilise MC21's ability to access directly the Dolby TrueHD streams that seem increasingly to be becoming the hi-res audio stream of choice for blurays. Worth it for this alone in my case, as I watch a lot of movies through my system and I enjoy the experience of decent audio playback as much for these as I do for music.
Also I am able to persuade myself that MC21's "Audio Only Mode" (for music listening; not movies - :-D ) does actually sound a bit better. (May be. A bit.)
This is just a burried-somewhere-on-page-17 story, not a frontpage item. But it's the only news I've got to offer right now.
