Human- / animal- interest story (not really hi-fi)
Had a break through today.
...Following on from a recent post.
My cat appears to have been trained successfully to sit only on the amplifier. :-)
Please note that once the twp photos on top of the PC (in the first photo, and placed there purely as an obstruction to his fat arse) were removed he remained on the amp all afternoon.
I'm still not confident enough to trust him. So I'll put the photos back on the PC if I leave the room.

Ha....so thats where my little rascal gas gone !
Shes up stairs in the bedroom, fast asleep on the bed !
Used to sleep on the TOCA when I owned it, but can't find any pics.
(But, ouch! That gets really hot!)
We must start a "Cats on SECAs" thread.
Today, no photos in place on the PC, and good boy George just trots over and gets straight on the amp. Didn't even look at the other end of the shelf. No need for a stern word from me.
Good lad. Lots of praise and strokes. :-)
(Somehow he seems to be channeling the light from the LEDs on the boards inside the amp through his eyeballs...)
Bless Him
He is well blessed. Spoilt rotten.
I must say, he's looking his age in that photo.
I recently discovered that cats (and dogs) age "differently" to humans.
According to this chart, the old boy will be 74 next month.
What a wonderfully expressive face.
And "mardy adolescent" and 'disgruntled" sums it up very well.
