Hello. I am David!
I don't know about you, but I loved Shine, the biopic of pianist David Helfgott that won Geoffrey Rush an Oscar for his performance as Helfgott.
If you have Netflix, make sure you watch Hello. I am David!, a documentary about David, his wife Gillian, musicians and promoters during a recent tour of Germany.
It's a wonderful piece of film-making with some great piano playing. Possibly nearer to jazz playing at times (maybe that's why I liked it), but WTH!
I'll probably watch it again over the weekend.
