BandCamp - support unsigned/small artists!
As I mentioned last week, I've used Bandcamp a few times now, which was a
new discovery for me. The site is huge, so a lot of digging will be
required, but the two downloads I have had from them were extremely well
recorded. The artists seem to be in the happy place where thy can
afford to be well recorded, mixed & mastered but don't have record
company execs interfering with the output. If you do buy a download,
after payment there is a drop down menu where you need to select FLAC -
it's under the heading 'nerds & audiophiles'!

My favourite so far: Zoe Keating - kind of processed Cello with an alternative rock edge. Very good indeed.
