For sale
I have owned this from new.
Boxed in excellent condition. I was running it with a custom PSU I built that i'm keeping for the time being.
Would need to check that the supplied wall wart type is in the box, so presume no psu for now.

I think they generally go for about £300 these days.

I've always liked the look of these, you can tell they are Italian. Timeless style.

If I didn't already have my DIY jobby I'd cough up for this!
Wouldn't it be nice if we could source those extruded ally cases at a reasonable price, they'd super-duper-pooper-scooper for DIY projects.

If I had a psu I'd give this ago.

I've located the box, and the supplied psu is missing, but you can buy one for under £10.

Thanks for that quickie.
Got a question.
I don't stream music or have it on a computer.
So I would just use it as an outboard dac for a cd player.
Will it improve a cd player or is it manly for downloaded music.
Many thank.

Depends on how good the DAC is in your CD player.
I used an Arcam Alpha 5 as a transport, and didn't use it for streaming.
I'm a bit out of touch with whats decent these days, but it was very well regarded when I bought it.

I'd say it should improve most CD players. My POV is that the CD player will be the limiting factor, not the Young, unless you have something very exotic.

Thanks Dave.
Not really much interest, so I'll stick it on eBay I think.

I think many of us are still soldiering on with our own Youngs, so we probably don't need a second.
Good luck on the 'bay.
