    No, I think the Forum needs to default to new messages when a member joins

    You can also hit the "Recent discussions" button on the right. I can't remember what the default is as I have said order as my browser preset.

    The Home page is set to Discussions.Apart from the first two threads, which are pinned, the latest posts are at the top.

    What are you using for reading the forum? Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this.

    Agreed. And this is how it should be appearing for you.
    I'm sure Dave will be able to help you to see things as do other members.
