Recommendations for speakers to pair with Incatech Claymore?
Thread title says it all really. Looking to upgrade my old Mission 73i speakers which I have had since the early 1990's. Any suggestions to compliment the Claymore and relly bring out the best qualities of the amp? Floorstanders? Stand mounted? The Missions are sat on Gale metal stands.

Col’s amps do everything well. But the quality of the bass is something I like especially. Hence doing justice to that has become a high priority for me.
My preference is for speakers from the 70s with large (>10inch) woofers. Goodmans ones of that vintage are often good, but they usualky need some TLC.
I know very little about modern speakers. :-/

Never owned a pair myself, but plenty of people whose ears I trust, have.

This is the Claymore in my second system happily driving a pair of even bigger Goodmans Magisters.
You can't go wrong with a pair of Minstrels, IMHO.
How much of a step up are these from Misson 731i speakers?
One of the plinths is missing and some of the vinyl is peeling but could be resurrected? I tried looking on Royd's website but have they gone bust as the security certificiate is out of date?
The “Royd” name was I think (and again don’t hold me to this) recently bought up by a new company who are now (or were) selling new designs (no idea if they were any good).
There's a professionally designed website at http://roydaudio.co.uk/index.html, too. But there's no dealer list or price list for direct purchases. Although the Wam review of the Troubadour suggests £1300-ish for the price.
I'd love to hear the Atom, though.
