Cillian Murphy on BBC Radio 6

Frankly, I found this a bit late. The programmes only seem to be around for a short while before they disappear.

Anyhow, there are two seasons of Cillian Murphy (Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders) picking from his music collection (they claim). He plays a fantastic range of music, lots of which is completely unfamiliar to me. And, it turns out that there's little that would appear on the Peaky Blinders soundtrack, in case you're wondering.

Maybe I should have another go at listening to R6. Certainly, Murphy's programme is a refreshing change from my continued spiral into the depths of jazz. A kind of Radio Paradise, but with a European twist.

I can't give you a link to the website, as there is nothing available. You have to use the BBC Sounds app. FWIW, I'm streaming it via the BBC Sounds plugin in LMS.

Lots of good stuff to be found there, but you do have to be quick..ish?

I thought it might have been closed down a few years ago, but later reinstated by popular demand.
