    No, I hadn't seen the sad news. I normally race with a mate of mine to tell the other about major musical deaths. 

    Please, go ahead and post about Jamal's death.

    I know it wasn't. It's just a silly thing my mate and I have going. It started during lockdown, when many musicians, alas, died. It started with texts of: "Oh no, so-and-so has died".

    Yes, I guess so. You have posted that Ahmad Jamal died, the man that Miles Davis said was his greatest influence. A huge star amongst musicians, even if he was comparatively obscure with music fans.
