    Just had an email about this, sad news.

    I'm not a big fan but he was sufficiently "out there" to pique my interest.

    He's been under my radar for years, so I'm not really familiar. What I will say is respect to someone who does their own thing with style, which he certainly did.

    He apparently gave up music in 1984 or so to concentrate on painting.  So yes, nuff respek as the yoof say!
