Or even what would you like to see, but you've no one to go with? Maybe Chews can put you in touch with another member who wants to see the same gig/tour/music.

    I have my tickets for Ornette Coleman on 20 November on London.

    I hope so. He was fantastic two years ago at the same venue, although I doubt if he'll have Flea in the band or Charlie Haden guesting.

    i had heard that Flea was a big time jazz head and had been dipping a toe in the jazz scene with the cal tech jazz band, never knew he was kicking it with the mighty Ornette though!

    Yeah. Flea's dad is/was a jazz muso, by all accounts, so he was brought up with jazz around him.

    The great thing about Flea at the previous gig (apart from the fact he really seemed to understand Ornette's music and play it well), was that he didn't grandstand. He acknowledged the crowd's applause, but just melted back into his role as sideman.
