New project (TRY AGAIN - TAKE 3!!!)
[Last go this - have just worked out I can embed the mp3 in the post! :-) ]
Looking for some honest thoughts here.
After a few false starts, I've recently got going with a new musical endeavor...
Just me and a female singer/guitarist. We've worked together in
other bands before, but recently decided to go it alone as a duo, with
me usually doing bass or percussion.
We're trying out some new original stuff, and have only had 2
sessions, but (I think) things are going well. Check out the mp3 below
for one of our tunes (please excuse some of may failing to keep pace
with chord changes - as I say, it's only been a couple of weeks...).
Let me know what you think.
(It was recorded in mono using just an iphone, and I stuck a touch
of reverb on using Audacity, before converting it to mp3, so hifi it is
not.)
(Just press play...)
Let me know what you think.

No idea. Haven't used this hosting site before. The embeded mp3 doesn't appear at all on my iPhone, but did work fine earlier on my laptop.
Let me know if you struggle to open the file...
:-/
In any event, thanks for your humouring / interest. :-)
James - I'll try to post another demo later.
Re. the recording quality - the iPhone's and its voice memo feature is much better than it has any right to be. It's a real god-send for recording little ideas or tunes as they arise.
