PM with Eddie Mair
As above, on BBC radio 4 each evening at 5pm.
Yesterday (tue 22 may), first news item was Christine LeGarde's (of the IMF) comments on the economy. Robert Peston, Economics editor at the BBC did the piece and spent the opening minutes commenting on how "charming" ms LeGarde is, that he had met her several times, and she is a most "seductive" politician.
Poor chap went round and round in circles (you could almost hear him getting redder and redder in the face), ultimately failing to recover - all along being further embarrassed by Eddie Mairs gentle jibes.
It was extremely funny, especially as it was going out live on possibly the best BBC news show (IMHO).
It can be heard on the iPlayer from about 5:30 mins into the show.
