Gloucester blues 2012

edited July 2012 in Music
Off to the festival tonight. I like the format - all the gigs are in city centre pubs and are free. I'm not sure how the thing is funded.
Tbh there aren't usually any really big names, but that means that one usually uncovers some pleasant surprises. Also, the atmosphere across the city centre is great. :-)

  • Sounds great Ben.  Wish I had the time to come but very busy!
  • It does sound good. But too far for me.
  • I'm out with an old guitarist friend of mine. I'm hoping to go again, perhaps for the closing night on Saturday.
Shame you're busy at the mo' Paul.
Dave, fair enough - it is a long way to come.
I'll doubtless post in a state of drunkenness later. Apologies in advance... :-/
  • We eagerly await the splurge of avant-garde musings, Ben! b-(

I'm not sure I can keep up with your alcohol consumption either

  • Good ol' cafe rene (it's a pub). As well as participating in the blues festival have had the good grace to coincide that participation with their very own beer festival.
We entered into a certain amount of smiling and cheering as we entered the premises and realised this.
Music very good by the way.
