  Something with low capacitance is usually a good bet for a passive pre. Most cables will probably be ok though especially if under a metre. I've heard of people using Mark Grant, Rega Couple (Klotz?), Epiphany Altratus, Gotham Gac-1 and NVA. I bet there are many, may others.

  Almost anything in that range ought to be good. I'm sure you could trial a few for a week and return what doesn't suit your system?
  
  I've used some early interconnects from Paul (RFC) which were excellent - very like NVA SSP. I must have sold them though, as I cannot locate them anywhere.

  Shamefully I've never tried any of Paul's cables...
  If they're similar sounding to NVA SSP then I'd like them, as that's what I use. And speaking personally, I rather prefer the proprietor of RFC than I do the head honcho of NVA...

  Just signed for a box, about 9"x6",inside I found a little gem, no not a lettuce, it's only the Tisbury Audio Mini Passive Pre, great looks, what a sound stage, clean, crisp, deep and rich, TOG, is ver ver happy
