I've been having a read through this

And found myself interested in trying it out.

I do use an Ethernet Isolator between my Control and Audio PC and that does make some difference.

so maybe an interesting twist on the question would be:

Do different connections, data transfer, and isolation methods make a difference.

My time with the Acoustic revive say yes.

Is the lan isolator really worth that much in terms of return?

It's a matter for ears I guess but I like the sound less when I take it out. But it may also depend o where it is used.

I have my isolator between 2 PC's as opposed to between the switch and NAS which may make some difference.

But I'm looking forward to trying the Fibre network solution for full isolation.

it's not as complex as the Human ear/mind.
