    I'd forgotten about him.

I remember hearing something of his years ago and then largely forgot it.  Found this one today and gave it a go.  Doubt it'll get airtime again.

Now, where's my Prince stuff :)
  • Gare du Nord - Sex and Jazz
  • Dave Weckl - Rhythm of the Soul on Spoticus

    Thanks Richard :)
  • Jim - probably my favourite Weckl studio album, especially with Kennedy on string bass on 'Mud Sauce'. :)
  • I'll own up to ignorance here.  I've never even heard the name until now.  Sounds good to me though.

    Thanks again mate.
  • Charles Mingus - Mingus Plays Piano

  • Arve Henriksen - Cartography
  • Herbie Hancock - River: The Joni Letters
  • Gong - Expresso II
I haven't heard them in yonks. I saw a line-up from that kind of era (Pierre Moerlen's Gong) at Birmingham University back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
  • Don Cherry - Art Deco

I haven't heard Gong in years either, may try Spotty later.
  • Art Pepper - The Trip
  • Miles Davis - Milestones
  • Denys Baptiste - Let Freedom Ring
  • Art Blakey - Free For All
  • Very generous of him. Where can I download it from?  :-D
  • Art Pepper - Not A Through Street

Besame Mucho where he makes a very big nod to A Love Supreme.  Which of means I want to play...
  • Sclavis/Pifarely/Ducret/Chevillon - Acoustic Quartet
  • Johnny Cash - The Legend
