A kind of reference for essential recordings by particular artists. So a thread for Art Pepper, one for Bill Evans etc. And, under Rock, Captain Beefheart and Jimi Hendrix. And so on.
Thinking some more it may be better to have Jazz Recommendations, Rock Recommendations, Classical, Folk, World and so on. A heading for every artist will make a very long list.

But it'd be easier to find what you're looking for, and won't have muddled threads full of many artistes.
I think we should adopt this format:
Recommendations: Art Pepper (in jazz)
Recommendations: Frank Ifield (in old shit you wished I'd never mentioned)

So under Music we have a Recommendations sub heading and then Jazz. Rock etc in there?

I'm with you. Sounds good to me.
OK, you win! I've never played it through, not sure I have a copy these days. Been years since I've heard any of it.
Mind, the entire album is covers.
They do make me laugh
My mistake, just checked and about half are covers. The rest are by the band.
Still a lot of covers though.
My two favourite covers are Highway to Hell and Ace of Spades
They have a video out called No Sleep 'till Liverpool :-)
They have a tribute album to Kiss - called Kiss My Grass
:-))
