More importantly, it gave me something to get stoned to during my first year at Uni.
I think I might play Ah Um later. Ah Um is the one the critics big up, but I love the energy and drive of Blues and Roots more. It's the one I play most.
A strange mixture of bop and avant garde, with Philly Jo Jones on drums. This was one of my late friend Mick's favourite albums and a gift from him, so I always think of him when I play it.
