What else could you follow this with other than Talking Heads. Once In a Lifetime. I will now wonder of into some blue grass, not for many/any here. Have a great day.
Taste were an Irish blues/ rock band formed by Gallager in the60 I think. Lots of them on youtube. Great band and great guitarist although possibly not to your "taste"

Possibly not. But I may give them a go if I'm in the mood.
As I now have the Fela album I thought I would give it a listen. Didn't expect to find it this engaging. Probably well outside of my normal "listening zone" but worth it none the less. Let you know in a few days if it sticks!

Possibly, but not that far from some of it. I'd be surprised if it doesn't stick.

No!.. maybe getting to be a bit O.C.D these days. Bass players, drums, guitar once I have heard a certain sound/technique I tend to go on the "hunt" for similar, sad isn't it.

Sounds good after a gentle alcohol-fuelled afternoon and evening! Kind of uplifting and chilling. Not at all challenging.
Probably my favourite amongst Shabaka Hutchings' multiple projects.
I wasn't so pure in starting the new year. It was, perhaps, appropriate
Fela's music is always uplifting to me, despite its lyrical content and purpose. He has supported me through some dark times.
Probably his best in years. I love his trumpet tone.
Japanese Jazz Mix.
One of the best albums of the 80s?
Spectrum is great, definitely
I'm enjoying this more than I did their more buttoned-down ECM release from last year. If you like Ornette Coleman's acoustic music, you'll love this!
Gard Nilssen's Acoustic Unity - To Whom Who Buys a Record
One step further away from Ornette, I'd say.
Gard Nilssen's Supersonic Orchestra - If You Listen Carefully, The Music Is Yours
And the artist of the day is...
