Well it all started for me when I used to watch the pretty lights flickering on my graphic equaliser. I would spend many a happy evening watching the green lights flash into yellow, and occasionally - thrillingly - to red. Then, one fateful night, I realised that if I turned up the knob at the end, strange sounds came of the speakers that seemed to match the flickering lights. It took some time to adjust to the sensory overload of having flashing lights and sound, and eventually it proved too much. So now I simply listen to music and imagine flashing lights.
