I spent the other evening with them on BBC4, a doc and then a live concert. Thay were my first live gig, and my son loves them too now! I just love L & L. I've been humming 'Matty Groves' for two days now...

I also went to drumming workshop with Dave Mattacks about 12 years ago, when I played. Lovely man.


Now: RadioParadise on the fartfone with my AKGs, driving in my van. HIfi it ain't, but I'm happy!

I missed them on BBC4. I'll have to have a rummage on iPlayer, as L&L is one of my favourite albums of all time.

Chris McGregor's Brotherhood of Breath - Eclipse at Dawn

After decades of drought, over the past few years a huge amount of McGregor/Blue Notes/Brotherhood stuff has become available.

Just about every time I look on Amazon, I find more. I'm hooked - and the coffers are being emptied!

Edit: On first playing, I'm not sure this one is one of the best.
