Jim it is earlier DIN version - caps seem ok with no leaks/bulging. I might change them anyway to be safe and should improve sound marginally..
I reckon a change to some good BNC caps will be a big improvement. I did it on an earlier one of mine to good effect. My current one had them done already. Worth upping the voltage rating as well to 80 or 100v helps too.
Spent some time yesterday/today ripping CDs to my PC , I now have about 50 on the hard drive , currently playing Tool , Lateralus, via my PC to my old Sony STR7025 into my wharfedale 8.1 ..sounds fine , lacks detail but is fun ..Tool rule.

Bargain Mervyn! They go for at least £100 these days. Is it the older type with DIN inputs or the newer type with phono?
