Just started playing this for the first time, so no thoughts on it musically. But it is fascinating to hear a gig from the Alphonso Johnson/Chester Thompson version of the band.
I saw them live for the first time the following year with Jaco Pastorius and Peter Erskine.
Edit: The music on Live in Berlin sounds great on first listen. I've only listened to it on the office system, but the recording quality seems unexceptional.
