  • Absolutely nothing. I'm hundreds of miles away from my rigs :-(
  • Soft Machine - Bundles, a great album and fortunately its on Spotify

An old mate of mine back in the early 80's got me into this album, he could play the whole album note for note on the guitar just like Alan Holdsworth.

If you guys on here like fusion jazz guitar ten look no further

1st play on the main system, so early days. Apart from a bright 'n shouty first track, I feel this might be something rather special. Lovely arrangements (lots of acoustic geetars), fantastic production, songwriting & storytelling.

Well that was surprisingly short! Good though, not shake-yer-world good, but very fine.

  • Ramparts d'Argile was the first Texier album I bought, as well, although I was aware of him before that.

I've seen the trio play Ramparts live twice.
  • jammy tart, he came to Edinburgh a couple of years ago , i turned up for the second night and the gig was cancled

Note to @Alan: Alison Krauss' bass-playing bruv, Viktor, plays on this and some other Frisell albums.
  • Another one to investigate then!

You must. It has Fables of Faubus, which is a must-have for anyone interested in modern jazz, politics and humour (all at the same time). And I don't care if you're not ;-)

One of today's most important alto players, IMO. Everyone should have some Steve Coleman, even if some of his music sounds a bit mechanical at times.
  • Sigh! More money!
