Most of the Blythe albums I really like are the ones with Bob Stewart on tuba, instead of a string bass. Blythe and Stewart seem to have a magical shared pulse.

Thomas seems to have disappeared. A great shame. I saw him in the late 80s/early 90s leading a band that was doing fantastic things with live samples and so on in a small theatre in east London, a band that AFAICS was never recorded. I also saw him with Miles.
